CARBARN | Honda RA108 | Honda also confirmed That Their young driver line up will include 2006 British Formula 3 champion Mike Conway and Luca Filippi Italian. Positively Button commented on how the team developed the RA108.  Head of Race and Test Engineering, Steve Clark, believed the car was a clear step forward. In the testing in Paul Ricard before the Monaco Grand Prix, a second revision of the 'dumbo' wings on the nose, first introduced in the Spanish Grand Prix, was introduced.

The car was unveiled at a test in Valencia on 23 January 2008, a week before the car's official launch, driven by Rubens Barrichello. Honda RA302

CARBARN | Honda RA302 | The Honda RA302 was a Formula One racing car produced by Honda Racing, Honda Racing and introduced by France during the 1968 Formula One season. The car was built based on the order by Soichiro Honda to develop an air-cooled Formula One engine.  The magnesium-bodied Honda and 58 laps worth of fuel ignited instantly, killing and destroying the RA302 Schlesser.

A second RA302 was built, with slight modifications, earmarked for Surtees to drive at the next race, but when Surtees Refused to drive it again, Honda Decided to pull out of Grand Prix racing and did not return as a constructor until the 2006 Formula One season with the Honda RA106.

Honda RA271

CARBARN | Honda RA271 | The Honda RA271 was Honda's second Formula One racing car, and its first to actually enter a race. The car was developed from the company's 1963 prototype, designated RA270 retrospectively.

Although RA271s only contested three 1964 Grands Prix, driven on each occasion by the American sports car racing-specialist Ronnie Bucknum, its innovative, transversely mounted, 1.5 L (92 cu in) V12 engine - Sometimes cited as "the strongest engine of F1's 1.5-liter era "formed the basis of Honda's race-winning RA272 of 1965 at the Mexican Grand Prix, driven by Richie Ginther (USA).

The car's best result was at its debut, after withdrawing from the Belgian Grand Prix, at the 1964 German Grand Prix, where Bucknum was running 11th before spinning out and being classified 13th. Engine dimensions of the 1965 48-valve V12 were 58.1 x 47.0 mm 1,495.28 cc. 230 bhp (170 kW) was quoted at 13.000 rpm.

Pagani Huayra (2012)

CARBARN | Pagani Huayra (2012) | The eternity of the element of water. The new central monocoque on the Pagani Huayra is an entirely new design made from carbontitanium. However, with the gull wing doors cutting deep into the roof, much research was focused on Achieving the highest levels of rigidity through the application of new advanced composite materials and technologies first tested on the Zonda R.

The front and rear subframes CrMo offer an exceptional rigidity-to-weight ratio to allowing the suspensions to work at Their best while Incorporating an advanced energy absorbing crash structure, ready to protect the occupants in the event of an impact Unlikely. The prodigious power and torque generated by Pagani Huayra's V12 are transferred to the wheels through a transverse sequential seven speed gearbox and a dual plate clutch and the complete gearbox weighs only 96 kg.

Xtrac's expertise in Motorsports was obvious throughout the design and material selection processes That resulted in the strongest and lightest possible gearbox Suitable for road use, with a synchromesh box That offers comfort levels a race car gearbox will never be Able to offer. The suspension geometry has been designed to further enhance the sure-footed nature already present in the Zonda on the longer wheelbase Huayra Pagani.  The aerodynamic concept of the Pagani Huayra is that? Of a wing.

The goal is to have a neutral vehicle behavior under all conditions and control body roll via aerodynamic means. The behavior of the flaps is managed by a dedicated control unit That is fed information from the ABS and ECU, the which pass information about the car's speed, yaw rate, lateral acceleration, steering angle and throttle position. During braking, for example, the rear flaps and the front suspension are raised to counteract the weight transfer and balance the weight distribution front and rear axles Between, allowing a better use of the rear brake force. Another vital design tenant for the Huayra project was to Ensure clean airflow over the body of the car.

The intake for the gearbox radiator is located Between the window and the engine bay of the rear carbon clamshell bonnet, the which provides an excellent airflow to the radiator without having a substantial impact on aerodynamic drag. This decision also led to the omission of a rear wing, replaced by the movable flaps. The flow of water through the car was also carefully studied. Water from the central radiator is extracted by vents on the front bonnet and trough the front wheelhouses. Water from the side radiators is channeled to ducts cooling the brake discs and wheel hubs.  Lateral water outlets behind the front wheels generate a negative pressure inside the Wheelhouse Providing efficient extraction to lower the drag coefficient and generate downforce on the front. In Addition to the downforce generated by the flaps and body, two high negative pressure areas were designed into the shape of the underbody and the diffuser at the rear, Thus Spake the aerodynamic stability enhancing and guaranteeing the Pagani Huayra downforce under all circumstances.
