CARBARN | BMW X5 (2012) | BMW announced plans to coincide with the celebration of the production to 2 million units in the South Carolina plant in operation since 1994, as reported by CAR BARN SPORT  Thursday (12/01/2012). With the fresh investment, BMW will have a new production line and opening 300 new jobs in the United States. Frank-Peter Arndt, BMW says one of the directors, principals intend to complete the X Series family is already on the market.



Throughout 2011, this factory produces 276,065 units of vehicles to supply the 130 countries in the world. Distribution of exports increased 73 percent over the previous year. Because, 70 percent of BMW's total production is exported to a new country outside NAFTA (North American Free Trade Area). 

Units to 2 million BMW's Spartanburg plant is out of the X3 xDrive35i berkelir Vermillion Red Metallic.  Attending the ceremony, the Governor of South Carolina Niki Haley said, because of its support BMW have contributed to citizens. Moreover, new investments could reduce the level of unemployment in the city and drive business growth.
