The selector lever has a ring and a gloss black machined aluminum badge with a "Q3 Vail" signature. Lever gaiter is enhanced by red stitching. Horizontal bars and fins give small dials and needles a sports center, three-dimensional appearance. The leather wrapped steering wheel and red stitching offers aluminum trim. Behind it are two large paddle shifters for manual control of the seven-speed S tronic. Aluminum inserts give the switches a black air of sophistication. Chrome accents adorn the system controls air conditioning, vents ribs and chrome-trimmed black knobs. Programmable keys for the MMI navigation plus system are aluminum, while the control terminals of the benefits of visually narrow strips of the same material.
