Lotus Exige S Roadster (2013)

CARBARN | Lotus Exige S Roadster (2013) | The exterior of the Lotus Exige Roadster S is identical to the coupe, which means that there is a new front splitter, which eliminates the broken lines found on the previous model and the newly designed headlights. The rear spoiler was also dropped off to make room for storing the factory fitted roof hood when the driver is enjoying his Sunday breeze. For the interior, Lotus offers customers the chance to opt for an improved interior comfort teddy or go for a more stripped down, the optional sports. The Lotus Exige S Roadster is powered by the engine found in the coupe: a supercharged 3.5 V6 engine with race-derived technology that delivers a total of 345 HP.

The sports car also comes with two different suspension settings: a standard suspension for a riding experience suited for active public roads and an optional parameter in the Race Pack for maximum performance, developed for track use. The roadster version accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and 100 mph in 8.5 seconds.

This list includes models like the Nissan 370Z Roadster. It is powered by a 332 HP 3.7-liter DOHC V6 combined with a choice of 6 speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission.
